Monday Blues

 Introducing:



Monday Blues follows undiagnosed autistic teen, Maya as she struggles through her last year of MCA school. She doesn't have a support system due to her parents abandoning her there as a kid. She doesn't know who she is or what she's going to do after school ends. Her last year starts off to a bad start when her friend group starts drama, when she has a makeover and becomes a new person. Unknowingly to Maya, the real drama is the fact her parents have just started working at the school. 

This show was wrote by Lola in December 2011, she was being bullied and didn't have many friends. The first draft was wrote on a cold Monday morning, the last before the Christmas holidays so she had a free lesson in the computer room during hard tech aka wood work. Before she knew it, the script was wrote, a universe of characters and important stories followed. She worked on this show till 2016 then had a 4 year break till 2020, when she reinvented the whole show. Little did she know that this show would be made and going into production in 2023. The portrayal of autism is based on her own experiences and sufferings she went through in school.

Screenwriting Advice

I think I have the right at this point in my life to talk about writing advice for others. I have wrote multiple TV shows, short films and even songs to go with them. I started writing creatively when I could pick up a pen. I was never afraid to show what bizarreness came from inside my imagination. When I say bizarre, I mean it. I'm surprised they didn't lock me up, some of the ideas were plain wild. Anyway, not the point. Let's just say, some of the best writing can come from ideas like it.  My ideas come from my dreams. I've always dreamt lucidly from the time my brain developed. Sometimes they're lucid and on a rare occasion, they're premonitions. I gotta be careful at times as I definitely don't want my life imitating art again. It's happened and god damn, I freaked. The Double L Show

 Introducing: The podcast hosted by Lee and Lola hence the title. This was an idea created by Lola in October 22 after they had done many zooms and realised how much their humour lined up. The show started off as an outlet to talk about TV shows, films and special interests. It later developed into a platform to interview celebrities. We have since spoked to many well known actors from all over the world. It is hard to believe how far this has came in such a short amount of time. We have an IMDB page and not to mention have gained ourselves some famous followers, which is the coolest part, no JK, famous people knowing who we are is the coolest. It makes a great conversation starter.  We're always looking for guests and collaborators so let us know if this is something you'd be interested in.
